So, he turned eight---he's never been that kid that made me wonder if he would make it clear til eight years old... (that's Josh)...probably because he always done so well at keeping up with his older brother and sister. He's just always right there.
But, he did make it. And we had a GREAT baptism day. Considering that we were in the doctor's office barely less than 24 hours before he was supposed to be baptized--you guessed it--HE HAD STREP THROAT! But, he didn't let it get him down. We started those antibiotics, made him stay in bed, literally, and gave him a pretty good dose of Motrin. And then we called all the relatives and explained that we were going to be a little short of the not-contagious-anymore stage and we would understand if they couldn't make it, but we were going ahead. (I'm not sure why he looks so happy here?! What a plastered on smile...kind of)
With Great-Grandma & Great Grandpa Wall, who came all the way from Boise.
The attempts at a family picture didn't work quite so well.
