6:30 A.M., 60 minutes, 32 laps, 1 Mile of swimming. And she did it.
In order to pass the last class of swimming lessons, you have to swim a mile, any stroke you want, in an hour. Last Friday she did it.
Did you know that at 6:30, the sun isn't even up? When they started, the pool was steaming a bit, but the kids said it wasn't even that warm. But they didn't talk about it for long, they just started swimming.
Annie has a beautiful back stroke. She's lean and long, and it is beautiful to watch because she makes it look so easy.
She also has a pretty effective front crawl, but she's had a bad cold, and couldn't breathe really well, so she mostly swam the breast stroke.
This really is a hard thing to do. And I am so proud of her for doing it.
