Here She Is!

She's here!! Officially her name is Leah Kate Maughan. She was born on Friday, March 20--the first day of Spring! She weight 8 lbs 3 oz, and is 20 1/2 inches long. We are home recovering while Grandma Wall has the other kids in Logan for Spring Break--Thanks mom! She has a cry all her own--loud! She definitely won't get lost as the youngest of 5 kids. She's eating well, a little jaundiced, and does okay at night; last night was a little rough, but the one before was pretty good--there's hope! the other kids will be home soon and then the real party--or work will begin. You just do what you have to do, right? Actually I will probably have a houseful of helpers---I can think of one big sister who is a great "baby holder", and luckily Emma wasn't annoyed at seeing her in the hospital; she was almost intrigued! I think we will even see a soft side to her brothers...here's hoping anyway. We sure love her--she's grown us pretty quickly and we're glad she's finally here!
