The weekend after the Fourth of July, Jon decided to take stock of his fireworks. After assessing all closets--yes, there were bags of fireworks in three closets, he spread them out on the table to drool, and organize and smile over. This is what he found...
Now, I ask, how many fireworks could one man need? Well, if you are Jon, you keep buying, but you have to ration what you have. I grew up with a pyro-maniac dad who only lights firecrackers by the package, yes, all at one time, 300 plus of them. I am now married to a man who only lights ONE firecracker at a time. Thus the reason we have unopened packages of firecrackers and bottle rockets, and flying ground blooms.
But, we also have a bag with probably 25 boxes of pop-its. At least we can keep the kids busy too!!
